Phil Orapallo has been singing for most of his life. Originally from NYC and born in Manhattan, he has also lived in the Bronx and Queens. As a teenager, he sang with an acappella group, "The Modernaires". Years later he married and moved to Long Island, where he raised his family and put singing on hold for a number of years.
In 1993, Phil and his family moved to Venice, Florida. In 1994 an acappella group, “N.Y.C.D.” (New York City Doo-wop) was formed. In 2006 N.Y.C.D. was dissolved. In 2007, Phil and Jeff Sykes formed a duo act "Perfect Chord". They produce and perform at Oldies/Doo-Wop Dances at the Venice Community Center in Venice, Fl.
Recently, Phil created “Harmony Productions”. The purpose of Harmony Productions is to present dances/shows featuring nationally recognized acts at the Venice Community Center. Harmony Productions is committed to bringing a variety of entertainment to the Sarasota/Venice area so we can enjoy the great music we all remember.
